Yet observe that creatures devoid of human intellect do not transgress, for they exist purely on the instinct, the divine script penned within their essence, and observe their unwavering adherence to their role, unfailingly, unhesitatingly, all in tribute to spring, summer, autumn, winter.
Behold the silent fortitude and modesty of the ant, an unassuming creature able to shoulder a burden a hundredfold its mass, yet it refrains from trumpeting its astonishing might. The sun ascends and descends in its eternal ballet. The moon parades its glory in cyclic rhythm, at times blindingly luminescent, at others enshrouded in an ebony hush. Observe as it abides by the unchanging celestial decree, just as it has always done. And if the moon were ever knocked off her course, spring, summer, fall, winter.

I didn’t ask for this. No soul truly does. We all send our prayers into the ether, nurse our secret hopes, and cradle our dreams. Yet, we rarely anticipate those dreams to take flesh and blood. And when they do, we strip them of their significance, passing them off as a happy coincidence.
I suppose that’s because the moment we admit to ourselves that a higher power is pulling the strings, our world becomes a more terrifying place. But, let me tell you. I didn’t ask for this. I didn’t ask for him.

Enveloped in a bed fit for an emperor, John Wingliss found himself in the eye of the tempest, the heart of an exotic whirlwind. Beside him, two women graced the extravagant setting, their bronzed skin recounting tales of distant shores kissed by a relentless sun, their forms enhancing the opulence like rare gems embedded in a crown of gold.
The sheets that cocooned them were of a champagne hue, a quiet yet fitting tribute to the man who savored life with the refined taste of a connoisseur. The room itself was bathed in the gentle glow of lamplight, casting an ethereal light on the tableau, creating a surreal halo that underscored the allure of the enigmatic Mr. Wingliss.
